First, sign up for the Medicaid (STAR) program if you haven’t done it yet. Call 2-1-1 and ask about Medicaid (STAR) or enroll online at Your Texas Benefits. You may also enroll at the nearest Medicaid office location.
You will soon be mailed a packet that lets you know which health plans are in your area. To become a RightCare member, follow the steps listed below. If you want to become our member, you can select RightCare on your enrollment form.
| Step 1
| Under "Health Plan Name" write "RightCare from Scott & White" as your 1st choice for each family member. (See area circled in green below.)
|| Look through our directory and pick a primary care provider. Write down your 1st and 2nd choices for doctors.
||Fill out the rest of the form. Sign and date it, then mail it in using your return envelope.
